A Television Academy anunciou nesta terça-feira (12) os indicados da 74ª edição do Emmy Awards, com apresentação dos atores J.B. Smoove e Melissa Fumero. Sem muitas surpresas, Succession foi a série mais indicada de 2022, ganhando 25 nomeações — incluindo a de Melhor Série de Drama. Já Ted Lasso, levou 20 indicações (incluindo Melhor Série de Comédia). A produção The White Lotus também recebeu 20 nomeações, além de Melhor Minissérie ou Filme para TV.
Seguindo a lista das mais indicadas, aparecem Only Murders in the Building e Hacks com 17 indicações; Euphoria, 16; e Round 6, com 14, ao lado de Ruptura, Barry e Dopesick. Vale destacar que na edição deste ano, a academia não deu destaque para qual rede de TV ou plataforma de streaming liderou a lista. A HBO, por exemplo, somando com a HBO Max, teve 140 indicações no total, seguida pela Netflix com 105. Em terceiro aparece o Hulu, plataforma da Disney, que conseguiu 58; a Apple TV+ 41; e o Disney+ 34 indicações.
